A glazed ceramic sculpture, resembling a worm or cocoon, is pierced and supported by a nickel-plated steel spike. This worm-like form alludes to the body parts of an otherworldly or mythical creature, drawing inspiration for its form from science fiction and a retro vision of the future. The steel stud, reminiscent of a meat hook commonly found in markets, serves as a recurring motif throughout the entire body of work.

The deliberate opening on the side of the ceramic piece reflects the artistic process, as ceramics require such apertures to prevent explosions in the kiln. This choice, present in other works in the exhibition, invites the viewer to take a look behind the scenes and demonstrates an honest and transparent portrayal of the creative process.

The artwork also makes subtle references to the body modification movement and BDSM. The steel spike piercing the organic form represents a violent form of symbiosis, where an architectural system supports the fragile organic shape while puncturing it.
