The work is the organic opening of a living organism; the entrance of a pore, a dilated sphincter, releasing thick gas or excretions. Articulating the sensation evoked by towering gasses leaving power plants, in conjunction with visceral and biological languages, the work invites us to consider all natural, productive processes hidden from our perception. The inner workings of Earth, Nature, in constant reconfiguration. Constructed in industrial materials, the work articulates modern notions of fabrication, extrapolated as a framing to understand the productive desire of all non-human agents, and their capacity to create worlds outside of human intervention. Before and after our presence on the planet, or our definitions and parameters of nature.
