In That Which Is Missing, Christopher Page confronts himself with the theme of the mirror using the  trompe l'oeil technique, confusing the boundaries between reality and representation. Using light, shadow and reflection, he challenges where the work begins and ends; the empty mirror confronts us with the absence of our own presence, creating an uncanny feeling. The mirror isn’t doing what we expect it to do, twisting our perception and playing with illusion, transforming representation into abstraction.
