ALEXANDRE DA CUNHA

Alexandre da Cunha’s practice is rooted in readymades or appropriated objects. Through subtle changes to often everyday objects, da Cunha dramatically shifts our perspective. Inviting the viewer to reconsider and reimagine familiar materials and discover their hidden beauty.

“My whole process starts by collecting things that I’m intrigued by, either because of their function or because of the method of fabrication.”
